Self-care Habits to Incorporate into your Daily Routine

Habits can become boring BUT they help us be more productive and ultimately reach our goals. Incorporating self care into your daily routine can do wonders for you. See some of my favourite daily self-care habits below.


1. Have a set Morning Routine


For me, having a set morning routine helps me be more productive. Whenever I wake up late, I can literally forget about having a productive day. It only takes 21 days (3 weeks) to build new habits and I definitely recommend this one.




 


2. Keep work and self-care space separate


Keeping work/school separate is increasingly difficult when you’re working from home. For me, the room I sleep in is also my “office”, so it is so difficult to keep them separate because it’s literally one space. If you room also doubles as an office what you can do is try go to a coffee shop to work when you’re feeling overwhelmed.




 


3. Wind down before bed


Winding down before bed can improve the quality of your sleep. My favourite winding down activities are:

- Taking a warm bath.

- Lighting candles

- *Try to stay off social media

- Drinking green tea
