It is often said that the hardest part of every race is found very close to the finish line. With less than 2 months left of this very challenging year, it is expected (and completely normal) that most of us are completely exhausted.
End of year fatigue usually manifests itself towards the end of the year and is a direct result of being overworked and stressed. This kind of fatigue can experience both physically and mentally.

Self-care for end of year fatigue
- Schedule self-care:
Make time for yourself. Listen to your body and rest when you need to.
- Eat foods that fuel you:
During this time, our fist thought is to reach for comfort food (chocolate is my personal fav), but this isn’t the best option because when you’re stressed junk foods actually increase stress hormones levels. Try find healthy alternatives for your normal comfort foods.
- Exercise:
Exercise is a natural stress reliever so this will definitely help you feel better.
- Get a massage:
Self-care looks different for everyone but I think we can all agree a massage is a great way to relax and unwind.
